Smoke and Fire
The Summer of 2021 was a smokey one. Some days you couldn’t even see the sun through the haze, let alone the mountains. This shot was taken from the Devils Thumb on the first morning the smoke rolled in. You can actually see the smoke drifting in front of the Sunrise in this shot, and we watched it for hours. It was truly beautiful but the last Sunrise I saw for months until the smoke had cleared.
